Supermodel Bella Hadid called out Instagram for “bullying” after the social media platform deleted an Instagram Story slide she had made featuring a snapshot of her father’s passport.
As noted by Page Six, the model had initially posted a pic of her father’s, Mohamed Anwar Hadid, passport on Instagram Stories. In Bella’s snap, Hadid’s birthplace was listed as Palestine, which she duly noted in her small caption.
To Bella’s surprise, however, Instagram deleted the Story slide, leading the model to post another slide addressing its removal on Tuesday, July 7. (The images have since expired due to Instagram Stories’s 24-hour life cycle, but both Page Six and social media have plenty of screengrabs.)
