It’s no secret that the fashion and beauty industries can be shockingly wasteful and unethical. Clothing manufacturers get (rightly) dragged for their subpar factory conditions and high carbon emissions, beauty companies for their use of environmentally unfriendly ingredients (and packaging) and penchant for animal testing. Ick.

With Earth Day (April 22) just around the corner, what better time to green-ify our shopping habits?
