If there is a boundary, Becca McCharen-Tran is ready to push it. The Chromat designer has built her brand on challenging fashion standards with an inclusive viewpoint and clothing designed for all. 

This season, freedom from the show schedule allowed McCharen-Tran to present her collection in a new way, via a special film from director and activist Tourmaline whose 2018 doc Happy Birthday, Marsha! shined a light on the transgender icon Marsha P. Johnson. “She can see the big picture in such a clear way,” shared McCharen-Tran on the phone from Florida. “Everything she does is so intentional and done with care. I relied on Tourmaline, working with her during this time was something I needed.” 

On the heels of Chromat’s newly released Reebok collection, the duo chose to focus on the struggles faced by trans athletes as they fight for a place within the world of athletics….
