In the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic, another large company has decided to temporarily close its doors: Glossier.

In an announcement issued over email on March 13, Glossier revealed that it will be shutting the doors of its New York, L.A., Atlanta, and London retail locations starting immediately for at least the next two weeks in efforts to help contain the spread of the virus. The brand will also be postponing its upcoming Glossier Arizona pop-up until further notice.

“This is a tough call for many reasons,” said Emily Weiss, founder and CEO of the brand, in a statement. “In our New York City flagship alone, 2,000 people gather daily from around the world, often lining up down the block to connect with Glossier and with one another.
