James Charles has apologized after being called out for partying at the infamous Hype House during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The YouTube star was recently spotted partying at the Los Angeles location alongside a fleet of YouTube and TikTok stars as COVID-19 cases continue to spike in the city, making a heavily-attended party like the one at Hype House a potentially dangerous event. From images shared to social media, it appeared few of the party attendees were taking necessary precautions, including wearing masks and social distancing. Instead, most party-goers were hanging out like everything was normal. 

As noted by Buzzfeed, James wasn’t the only popular figure in attendance. YouTubers Tana Mongeau and Nikita Dragun were there, as well as TikTok celebs Charli and Dixie D’Amelio.
