The Met Gala 2020 might have been canceled in light of the coronavirus pandemic but Lana Condor is still reminiscing about last year’s event because, after all, it is the biggest night in fashion.

On May 5, the star from Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise took to her Instagram stories to discuss her experience at her very first gala last year and the Cinderella ordeal she went through to make it to the Upper East Side in time.

As you may remember, Lana donned a pale pink tulle confection, designed by Giambattista Valli, last year. It featured a ruffle trim, off-the-shoulder silhouette, and perhaps the longest, fluffiest train in history. It was gorgeous and, per the theme, camp-y. But getting into the dress wasn’t easy at all.
