NASA is officially bringing skincare to outer space. According to ABC News, NASA has signed a deal with Estée Lauder to shoot photos of the brand’s latest product launch from the International Space Station.
The product chose for the feat — which will orbit the globe at a speed of 17,500 MPH — is Estée Lauder’s new night serum and to assist in the #ad shoot will be literal NASA astronauts because… why not?
ABC News reports that Estée Lauder has agreed to pay NASA $17,500 an hour for the space-tastic photoshoot. The photos and videos captured will specifically be used to market the product on social media, pushing Estée Lauder’s marketing message that it is, indeed, out of this world. The product will take off on September 29 aboard the Northrop Grumman Antares rocket.
