Ever since Selena Gomez announced her Rare Beauty back in February, fans have been waiting with bated breath for an update on the brand. In a new interview for Interview Magazine, we finally have the heads-up on what’s coming — and it involves a fair amount of shades.

In the interview, Selena spilled to Amy Schumer that, for its initial launch, the brand will offer four dozen different shades of foundation and concealer, making it a 48-shade collection that Selena promises will be “very clean and easy.” When asked why she decided to launch with so many shades, Selena simply stated that she “wanted people to feel safe.” (Basically, thank Rih and the Fenty Effect.”)
