Most September fashion weeks are taking on a new format this year to comply with COVID-19 safety regulations, and TikTok — yes, TikTok — is stepping up to the plate to bring style to a wider audience.

As reported by WWD on September 10, the popular social app is set to hold its own fashion month, which will kick off in the coming days. Featuring virtual runways, style sessions, and more, the event series is one of the first of its kind, bringing capital “F” fashion to a younger and wider audience. Among those set to contribute to TikTok’s fashion month series are some well-established brands the likes of Saint Laurent, Puma, Alice + Olivia, and JW Anderson.
